Jared Harrington
Jared grew up in Washington DC and turned a lifelong love for the game into a 6-year professional career across Asia and the BAL (NBA Africa League). He played college ball at Albany State University and ran clinics alongside NBA Hall of Famer Dominique Wilkins. As CEO, Jared leads all partnerships, operations, and parent relationships at Elevate Hoops. Off the court, he founded NGO Beat the Odds Global, holds a minority stake in Orion Basketball Club in Rwanda, and co-founded Europe's Elite LLC.
Alex Mattina
A native of the Upper East Side, Alex grew up playing all across New York City. With over 20 years in the game, including work alongside NBA players, overseas pros, and top NBA trainers, he found his calling in skills development. As CMO, he shapes the Elevate brand and ensures every player gets the coaching they need to grow. Alex played varsity ball in high school and continued at Baruch and Hunter College. Over the past 7 years he has coached city AAU programs, led high school varsity teams, and run summer camps across New York.
Adriana Johnson
Adriana's record speaks for itself. A two-time Division I scholarship athlete at NJIT and American International College, she was drafted 4th overall into a professional league in Puerto Rico in 2012. She spent 7 years as an AAU head coach and served as assistant women's basketball coach at Yeshiva University. At Elevate Hoops, she leads the Girls AAU program with the same drive she brought to every court she played on.
Anthony Bligen
Anthony brings the intensity and composure that young players need to see. A student of the game with deep roots in NYC basketball, he leads the Boys AAU program with a focus on competitive readiness, team identity, and individual accountability. Anthony believes how you compete in practice is how you compete in games, and he holds his players to that standard every time they step on the floor.
Adrian Bouchant
Adrian is the kind of coach who makes the work feel worth it. Known for connecting with players on a personal level, he builds real skills through deliberate repetition and positive reinforcement. His approach is straightforward — master the fundamentals, stay consistent, and the game opens up. Whether it is footwork, shooting mechanics, or reads off the dribble, Adrian brings focused energy to every session at Elevate Hoops NYC.
